Biography Of The Roman Golovchenko
Roman Alexandrovich Golovchenko was born on 10 August 1973 in the city of Zhodino, Smolevichi district, Minsk region of Belarus.
In 1996 graduated from Moscow state Institute of international relations MFA of the Russian Federation majoring in "international relations", in 2003 Academy of management under the President of the Republic of Belarus, specialty "Economics and management of foreign economic activity".
From 1997 to 2002 – chief specialist of the state Secretariat of Security Council of Belarus.
In 2002-2005 he worked as the Deputy head of the Prosecutor General of Belarus.
In 2005-2006 he was the chief Advisor of Department of foreign policy of presidential administration of Belarus.
2006-2009 – chief adviser of Department of cooperation in the sphere of international security, senior Advisor Directorate for international security of the state Secretariat of Security Council of Belarus.
From July to December 2009, Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of Belarus in Poland.
Since December 2009 he held the post of first Deputy Chairman of the State military-industrial Committee of Belarus.
From April 2013 to August 2018 – the Ambassador of Belarus to the United Arab Emirates – part-time in Qatar, Kuwait and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
18 August 2018 was appointed Chairman of the State military-industrial Committee of Belarus.
June 4, 2020, the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has appointed Roman Golovchenko, the Prime Minister of the Republic.
Roman Golovchenko has the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (2018).
Fluent in English, Arabic, German and Polish.
