The number of cases COVID-19 emergency workers in Kamchatka reached 110
Coronavirus infection confirmed in 110 of the staff of the ambulance station of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, one of whom died, the press service of the regional government.
Earlier it was reported that on may 22 at the ambulance station of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky identified a hotbed of coronavirus infection. COVID-19 was confirmed in 38 workers of the medical institution, out of which 18 persons – drivers. Then the number of cases increased almost daily. Just an ambulance company employed 363 people.
"From April 2020 June 4, 2020, the number of cases among the staff of the ambulance station of Petropavlovsk has reached 110 persons, from them 33 driver and 64 health worker (another 13 people – other employees of the station). During the last day at the station revealed 6 cases of employees. One driver, aged 60 years, died early this morning in city hospital №2", - stated in the message.
According to the regional Ministry of health, currently, the ambulance station of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky there are four main brigades and two brigades of the center of medicine of accidents. However, as reported RIA Novosti in the anticipation, at the usual time in the regional center there are 17 ambulance teams.
According to the 4 June, in the Kamchatka region was 984 people, infected COVID-19, including 62 children under the age of 17 years. 384 people have recovered, 18 died. For the last day in Kamchatka revealed 35 laboratory-confirmed cases of infection COVID-19. In intensive care for 16 patients, including 6 people – invasive ventilator and 5 at NIVL, the others - on oxygen support.
