Cooperation between Moscow and Ankara, in recent years, growing in all areas, serves international peace and stability, said Wednesday RIA Novosti Ambassador to Turkey Mehmet Samsar.
"Thanks to a close friendship and strong will demonstrated by the Turkish President (Tayyip) Erdogan and the Russian President (Vladimir) Putin over the past few years our relations have developed in all spheres and made possible the implementation of strategically important long-term projects. Our cooperation, in other words, the cooperation of the two large countries of the Eurasian region on regional issues serves international peace and stability," - said the Samsar.
He noted that in 2019 bilateral trade turnover was $ 27 billion. In his words, it became possible including thanks to the implementation of the project "Turkish stream."
