Antonov called relations between Russia and the United States "somewhat frozen"
Russia's Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov said that relations between Russia and the United States "somewhat frozen", it seems that the positive signals from Moscow to the American side do not reach.
"As for the Russian-American relations, it seems to me that they are frozen. Two of our President's constructive, pragmatic, business line spoke and, in fact, placed before us the tasks that need to be addressed in the near future", - said Antonov in the air of the program "60 minutes" on TV channel "Russia 1".
Among these tasks, Antonov called combat coronavirus, cooperation in the field of space, the prospects for the implementation of the plan of trump in relation to "seven", global security, arms control.
"But I have a feeling that when I face when I speak with my colleagues from the state Department, from the White house that these positive signals were not being received. I have the feeling that the two presidents spoke, and then I enter another room in the White house or the state Department, and I do not feel the support of the attitude of the American President to get along with Russia. Today in Russian-American relations have accumulated a huge pile of problems", - the Ambassador added.
