State Duma Deputy Ruslan Balbec commented on the appeal of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada to the international community to continue the policy of non-recognition of Russian Crimea, and sanctions intensify pressure on Russia, calling such a policy "psychosis".

Earlier, the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada urged the West to continue the policy of non-recognition of Russian Crimea and to intensify sanctions pressure on Russia. In addition, the Council urged the international community to condemn Russia for supposedly "violating rights" of the Crimean Tatar people.

And, of course, today the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine no other business but to listen to the hot, empty and frankly vile suggestions Refat Chubarov. So I'm not surprised," said Balbec RIA Novosti.

According to him, all the "fighters" for the Crimean Tatar people "mired in corruption scandals involving the stealing of the people".

"Today, Crimean Tatars received the rights, freedoms and opportunities as much as in the Ukrainian period, not even dreamed of. By the way, thanks to Refat Chubarov together with his accomplices did everything to prevent people to solve their problems," - said the Deputy.

Thus Chubarov repeatedly stated about the inadmissibility of the Dnieper water supply in Crimea.

The thirty-first of March 2020, RF IC filed Chubarov charges of organizing mass riots in the Crimea in 2014, and public appeals to implementation of actions aimed at violating the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation, committed with the use of media.

Crimea became a Russian region after held there in March 2014 referendum in which 96.77% of voters of the Republic of Crimea and 95.6% of residents of Sevastopol voted for joining Russia. Ukraine still considers Crimea its but temporarily occupied territory.
