Voting on amendments to the Constitution will be held on 1 July, the decision of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin accepted on Monday.
"The decision was made, the date was assigned just yesterday. It was suggested by members of the working group and was appointed President. And we note, as already said, the situation is gradually improving epidemiological. You see on the streets across the country more and more people. With the big share of confidence it is possible to assume that in a few weeks and yesterday Popova (Anna Popova, head of Rospotrebnadzor) said that, actually, it's two quarantine period of two weeks, we hope that the situation will improve significantly. Therefore, we do not think that these are the remains of the epidemiological situation will somehow have a negative impact on turnout," - said Peskov reporters.
