The vaccine for coronavirus infection was developed by scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Lomonosov Moscow state University, transferred for pre-clinical testing to specialists of the 48th Central research Institute of the Ministry of defense of the Russian Federation, Vice-President of RAS, head of section, biomedical Sciences academician Vladimir Chekhonin.

Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova said on may 20 that Russia is developing 47 of vaccines against coronavirus for 14 platforms.
