In the morning, to the monument arrived Italian President Sergio Mattarella, who was accompanied by Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, the heads of the chambers of the national Parliament Maria Elisabetta Casellati and Roberto Fico, and President of the constitutional court Marta Cartabia. They were all in medical masks and kept social distance. Located in the centre of the town citizens greeted the appearance of the heads of state with applause.
