In Parliament said that Ukraine is "moving away" from the cosmos, stuck in the nineties

Ukraine further away from the status of a space power. This statement was made by the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from opposition parties "European solidarity" Irina Gerashchenko, the video of her speech published on the channel of the Ukrainian Parliament in YouTube.

Ukraine, according to Gerashchenko, it remains in the "dashing nineties".

Earlier, the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andrey Ermak said about the need to revive the space industry.

CEO of a leading rocket and space enterprises of Ukraine "Yuzhmash" Sergei Voight, in turn, said that the plant has lost 206 million (531 million rubles) due to rupture of contracts with Russia.

Voight recalled that in 2014, "Pivdenmash" in cooperation with Russia, worked on manufacture of rockets "Zenit" in the framework of the international project "Sea launch" (Sea Launch). However, the project was stopped due to political differences between Kiev and Moscow, said the head of "Yuzhmash."
