In the regions can access the mosque from June 1
The spiritual administration of Muslims of Russia suggested the communities in the regions to allow collective prayers in mosques with the participation of the parishioners, to the letter signed by first Deputy head of the DUM of the Russian Federation Damir Muhetdinov.
A letter to the chairmen of centralized and local religious organizations in the structure of THOUGHTS and of the Council of Muftis of Russia signed on 29 may (available to the RIA Novosti news Agency).
"Given the statement by the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova on the stabilization of the epidemiological situation in the country (from 25 may 2020), therefore in many regions of Russia it is planned to gradually relax restrictions because of the pandemic, the Spiritual administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation considers it appropriate for Muslim organizations in its jurisdiction, the gradual lifting of restrictions on collective worship as of 1 June 2020," the document reads.
The religious organizations in the regions have put a number of conditions, the first of which is "to focus on resolutions, decrees and other documents of bodies of state and local governments", and take into account expert opinion and evaluation.
"To remove restrictions in stages, for example, on the first Friday (June 5) to limit the number of worshippers for Friday prayers and place them in the hall respect for social distances," the letter reads.
Believers over 65 years old and chronic patients with recommended to refrain from visiting the mosque and people "with the slightest signs of SARS" and does not allow to collective prayers, to the document.
Religious organizations are also ordered to provide parishioners antiseptic for treatment of hand, to keep masono-glove mode as well as "strictly follow the recommendations for disinfection of premises".
"Based on estimates and criteria that are installed in the region, clergy and regional leaders, take appropriate decisions for yourself. In rural areas, for example, in some Tatar villages, no fixed signs of the disease," commented RIA Novosti document Damir Mukhetdinov.
