A group of protesters in new York blocked at the time of the FDR highway to the East of Manhattan, the correspondent of RIA Novosti.
A protestor after the death of the African-American George Floyd in Minneapolis, sat down on the roadway in both directions, raised signs reading "No justice, no peace", "life black also matters."
The police did not take any action and just by watching the scene.
Motorists stuck in a traffic jam, not only did not show discontent, but welcomed the protesters, including car honks.
Some time later the demonstrators moved along the motorway to the North.
