Co-owner of the "Winter cherry" was charged in the final version

The investigation has charged the co-owner of the Kemerovo TC "Winter cherry" Wisniewski Vyacheslav bribery charges in the final version, said on Saturday the press service of the RF IC.

Vishnevsky, who, according to the UK, in 2016, left Russia and lived in Spain, was arrested in absentia and declared in the international search March 24, extradited from Poland and Kaliningrad in jail, placed on 14-day quarantine, after leaving which he was charged under part 5 of article 291 of the criminal code (bribery).

"Wisniewski was charged in the final version of the Commission of a crime under part 5 of article 291 of the criminal code. The consequence he was charged with bribery in especially large size the organised criminal group headed by an official – the chief of inspection of state construction supervision of Kemerovo region Tanzilia Komkova", - stated in the message.

Now a criminal case against Vishnevsky is in the final stages of the investigation.

According to the investigation, in 2013-2014 Wisniewski with participation of the intermediary had paid a bribe in seven millions roubles the chief of inspection of construction of the Kemerovo region Tensile Komkova, her son Edward Komkova and CEO of "CLAIM Resource" Nikita Cherednichenko (all three also were defendants in this case). This allowed the owner to carry out the reconstruction of the shopping center without a building permit and in violation of the approved project which included the installation of automatic sprinkler systems on all floors of the building, which was not done.

Fire in four-storey shopping centre, "Winter cherry" was March 25, 2018. The fire was on the top floor, where was located a few cinemas and children's play areas with rides. The fire killed 60 people, most of them children. In the framework of the criminal case arrested 15 people. Among the accused are the owners and managers of the building, the security guard, now former heads of the regional emergencies Ministry, and also responsible for the introduction of a shopping center into operation, the fire alarm and direct the fire suppression at the scene.
