Media: Germany has arrested a suspect in the case of the death of 39 migrants
Law enforcement officers arrested in Germany suspected of organizing a network smuggling Vietnamese migrants, which last fall was sent to Britain by truck, where it is then found dead 39 people, according to Agence France-Presse, citing sources close to the investigation.
Earlier it was reported that law enforcement authorities of Belgium and France in a joint operation arrested 26 people suspected of involvement in the mass deaths of Vietnamese migrants in the UK.
As reported, 29-year-old man nicknamed "Bald Duke" arrested on Wednesday in the framework of the European arrest warrant issued by France. Information about his nationality is not given.
"He could be the head of the network on the French side", - quotes Agency the words of an unnamed source close to the investigation.
