Moskalkova: it is necessary to warn people about the risks of travel during epidemics
The government should warn people about the possible consequences of holiday trips during epidemics and pandemics, handing out leaflets and raising the legal propaganda, said the Commissioner for human rights in Russia Tatiana Moskalkova in an interview with RIA Novosti.
In addition, the Ombudsman noted that in case of easing of restrictive measures due to pandemic coronavirus and aware of possible risks, the government needs to make security measures as accessible to citizens.
"If the state is easing, but warns people that danger is not gone, risks remain, and should continue to receive protections, we hope that the government will make them available for the price and features of their purchase. Better to be sold at a minimum price or distributed free of charge because it is health not one person but the whole nation", — said the Commissioner.
