The U.S. government intends to conduct tests for the presence of antibodies to the new coronavirus infection among the troops, said the Chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, General mark Milly.
"Yes, we intend to introduce testing for antibodies in all units (army - ed.)," said Millie during an online press conference with the Minister of defense mark Esper.
Millie added that the tests already conducted, with priority given to those in the military who serve on submarines in the nuclear forces and those who have to be ready for rapid deployment.
He also noted that after conducting tests for the presence of antibodies from the military may request to donate blood for transfusion.
