Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan believes that Ukraine has a complexity in the perception of the essence of the Karabakh conflict.
Previously the foreign Ministry of Ukraine issued a statement about the July escalation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, which States that Kiev in favor of a political settlement based on respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan within its internationally recognized borders. Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan in an interview with the Jerusalem Post said that Israel should stop the sale of weapons to Azerbaijan.
According to the Minister, the sale of arms to Baku, "a deadly threat" given its use "against civilian infrastructure and the civilian population."
The Armenian Minister of foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, in an interview with France 24 TV station has expressed confidence that the meeting of leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan will continue to be organized, but they should be well prepared.
"We are committed to promoting the peace process (in Karabakh - ed.) by all means and ways. Leaders meeting is part of the process, they passed before, and I am sure that in the future meetings will be too. Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan in an interview with France 24 noted Russia's role in easing the situation on the border with Azerbaijan.
According to him, Yerevan has been engaged in extensive work with partners, in particular with the countries-co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk group on the Karabakh settlement, consisting of France, USA and Russia to cease hostilities and restore the ceasefire.
