The results "Arctic acres" will not stop the population outflow from the Arctic regions of the Russian Federation, but will simplify the procedure of obtaining land there, said the Deputy head of the Ministry for development of Russian Far East and the Arctic Alexander Krutikov.
The Ministry has prepared a bill that would expand the program "far Eastern acres" in the Arctic regions of Russia. After the adoption of the amendments, the first six months the right to obtain land in the Arctic will have the inhabitants of the Arctic regions. Later this right will have any citizen of Russia. Sites will only be granted on the land territory of the Arctic: the Murmansk region, Nenets and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous districts and 23 municipal districts of the Krasnoyarsk territory, Arkhangelsk region, Republics of Komi and Karelia. Chukotka Autonomous Okrug and Arctic municipalities of Yakutia in this list will not be included, since the land there is given, as in the far East.
The public Council of the Arctic zone, which will monitor the interaction of residents of the economic zone and of indigenous peoples of the North (kmns), will be formed in October 2020, told RIA Novosti press-service of the Ministry for development of Russian Far East and the Arctic.
As noted in the press service, the formation of a public Council will be open, applications will be able to apply any interested citizens.
The program of state support of economic activity of indigenous small peoples of the North will be developed by the end of 2020, told RIA Novosti in the Ministry of the Russian Federation.
As explained in the Ministry, the program will include measures to support the creation of indigenous small peoples of the North production of food and agricultural products and export of such products. The program also envisages measures for the development of tourism in the places of residence of indigenous minorities.
