The former head of the Angara Levchenko asked Putin to allow it to elections

The former Governor of the Irkutsk region Sergey Levchenko sent to the address of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin the letter with the request to allow him to participate in presidential elections in the region 13 September, told RIA Novosti press-Secretary Levchenko Pavel Dobrodeev.

Legislative Assembly of the Irkutsk region has appointed early election of the Governor on September 13, 2020. Such status elections makes it impossible to nominate their candidate Levchenko, who resigned 12 December 2019 according to own statement. In mid-June Levchenko at a press conference appreciated the chances to take part in the elections in the ratio of 40: 60, where 40 — the possibility that the elections would not allow it.
