Presnensky court of Moscow sentenced former head of the "Russian authors 'society" (RAO) Sergei Fedotov to five years in a penal colony for the theft of 762 million rubles, RIA news from the courtroom.
The Prosecutor had earlier requested for Fedotov 5.5 years in prison, while other defendants - his mother Vera Fedotova, his former employee Angela Agacino and ex-CEO of CJSC "Service-the operational company", which managed the assets of RAO, the Svetlana Temesheva - in less than a year. The defense asked for leniency and conditional terms.

"I admit my guilt, repent," - said Fedotov asked by the judge. He added that he asks to consider case in a special manner, although not able to challenge after the verdict on the actual circumstances of the case.
