More than 100 kilometers of roads and 90 bridges were destroyed in Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine, which is covered by the flood, caused by heavy rains, said on Wednesday the press service of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the country.
On Monday, the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine has introduced emergency security measures because of bad weather in Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi regions of Ukraine. Heavy precipitation also affected the Lviv and Zakarpatska regions. In the framework of the state service for emergency situations said that the bad weather has already killed three people and another was missing.
The Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine has sent in the affected flood regions of the country extra strength to the aftermath of the disaster, announced on Wednesday interior Minister Arsen Avakov.
On Wednesday Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal, interior Minister Avakov, the head of civil service on emergency situations, Nikolai Chechetkin and commander of the national guard Mykola Balan urgently flew to Ivano-Frankivsk region for the decision of questions of overcoming of consequences of bad weather.
