Ukraine has finally turned into a "banana Republic", as it is this fruit is now the cheapest in the country, said former Prime Minister Mykola Azarov on Monday.
"Ukraine has finally turned into a banana Republic. The promise about the agricultural power came down to the fact that the most affordable fruit is the banana. The average retail price for bananas in Kyiv on 30 June – 1 July was 27.2 hryvnia per kilogram (about $ 1 – ed.)", - wrote Azarov on his page in Facebook.
Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said in Twitter, what land, country "completely free" received while in the Soviet Union.
So, in the publication Azarov noted that in the Soviet Union, Ukraine became in 1922 without Kharkov, Kherson, Odessa, Donetsk, Lugansk, Crimea and Lviv.
