Power of the Murmansk region was extended to August 1, the regime of high alert in the region due to the tense situation for the coronavirus in a number of cities, including Murmansk and Severomorsk, said the Governor Andrey Chibis at a press conference in an online format.
"According to experts, we came to the plateau - almost 10 days we have a stable number of persons infected with the coronavirus. But the situation in Murmansk, Severomorsk, Kola district, Sochi remains tense. Given this situation, we have decided to extend the high alert till August 1," said Chibis.
