"In the Bundestag Committee on energy, in my estimation, a clear majority favoured the continuation of the construction of this pipeline. There are objections from the "Green" that lead environmental arguments. There is a significant majority in all parties, up to the Green, which declares that the sanctions against unacceptable and they need to protect themselves," said Ernst.
We need to stop "throwing U.S. cotton balls" and give a tough response to sanctions against the project of the pipeline "Nord stream 2", said at a press conference in Berlin the head of the Committee of the Bundestag on energy Klaus Ernst.
"The Federal government must stop throwing cotton balls and start solving problems, and defending against attacks on the sovereignty of Germany and Europe," said harms.
