Ukrainian miners ended the protest over wage arrears, reported Saturday the head of the Independent trade Union of miners of Ukraine Mikhail Volynets.

Ukrainian miners on 30 June began an indefinite protest at the office of the President with the requirement to pay them debt on a salary. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal said that the government repaid the debt to the miners. Later Volynets said that miners also need to provide safe working conditions, stable work of Ukrainian enterprises and are against the import of Russian electricity and coal.
