The EU will continue to Fund the ITER project, despite the crisis

The EU will continue to Fund a project to build an experimental fusion reactor ITER, in spite of the serious economic crisis caused by the struggle with COVID-19, said EU energy Commissioner Kadri Simson in a video message at the opening ceremony of the Assembly of the reactor.

"I would like to talk about the importance of continuing to support such projects in tough times. Pandemic COVID-19 made all of us to adjust our priorities. Europe is no exception," said she.
