Azerbaijan will strengthen quarantine from 14 to 16 June

The Azerbaijani authorities strengthen quarantine from 14 to 16 June in connection with the coronavirus COVID-19, suspend shopping centers and public transportation, reports the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic.

According to the decision oberstab, "00.00 14 June 2020 (23.00 13 Jun GMT) to 6.00 (5.00 GMT) on 16 June 2020 (in Azerbaijan on 15 June to celebrate the national salvation Day, not working day – ed.) in the cities of Baku, Ganja, Lankaran and Sumgayit, and Absheron, Yevlakh, Ismayilli, Kurdamir, Salyan areas suspended activities in all fields of works, services and trade, as well as public transport and car (excluding special-purpose vehicles, emergency recovery vehicles, ambulances, official cars of the bodies (agencies) whose operations are permitted, and cars of employees of these structures, vehicles of citizens attending the funeral of close relatives)," - said in a release staff.

Azerbaijan to toughen quarantine mode

Azerbaijan will tighten quarantine regime at the weekend in connection with the increase in the number of infected with a coronavirus, from 6 to 8 June closed all institutions, except medical, this decision took the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic.

"In connection with the increase in active cases of infection from 00.00 on 6 June (5 June from 23.00 GMT - ed.) to 8 June 06.00 (05.00 GMT - ed.) in Baku, Sumgait, Ganja, Lankaran and Absheron district will put a strict quarantine regime. Compliance with the requirements specified in the decision is mandatory," reads the decision.

Azerbaijan will mitigate the number of restrictions on the coronavirus

The number of restrictions imposed due to pandemic coronavirus COVID-19, eliminated in Azerbaijan, the message of the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic.

"The decision to ease some restrictions in the quarantine mode from 0.00 (23.00 GMT) on 31 may 2020", - stated in the message.
