The Ombudsman self-proclaimed Donetsk national Republic Daria Morozova said that the authorities of the Republic did not receive official proposals from the representatives of Kiev on an emergency exchange of prisoners due to alleged ill health.
Earlier, the representative of Kiev in the contact group on Donbass Denis Kazansky asked the self-proclaimed Donetsk people's Republic about emergency exchange contained in the NPT Valeria Matyushenko.
The self-proclaimed authorities of Donetsk national Republic decided to resume the traffic through the checkpoint of entry-departure "Elenovka" on the frontline from July 7, said in a statement released by the interdepartmental operational headquarters of the Republic to prevent the introduction and spread of a new coronavirus infection.
Earlier it was reported that from-for a difficult situation with the virus COVID-19 on the territory of Ukraine, the civil movement of vehicles and pedestrians through the checkpoint on the line of contact was stopped. Later, the authorities DND decided to resume the work of the checkpoint of entry-departure "Elenovka", South of Donetsk, but soon the work item was stopped.
The Ombudsman self-proclaimed Donetsk national Republic Daria Morozova supported resolution of the UN security Council on the cessation of hostilities because of the pandemic, COVID-19.
"I fully support and emphasize the importance of the adoption of July 1, 2020 resolution by the UN security Council on universal and immediate cessation of hostilities for a period of three months. I also call on Ukraine to pay attention to this resolution, to develop more active steps for the speedy implementation of all the provisions prescribed in the Minsk agreements," - said Morozov told reporters.
The self-proclaimed authorities of Donetsk national Republic sent representatives of Kiev, about five proposals on renewal of movement of civilians through the checkpoint on the frontline and warned about his intentions to open checkpoint "Elenovka", told reporters the DND Ombudsman Daria Morozova.
Earlier it was reported that the authorities DND decided on the termination of the civil movement of vehicles and pedestrians through the KPVV on the contact line in the Donbass. Later it was decided to resume the movement but perform a specific procedure.
The Ombudsman self-proclaimed Donetsk national Republic Daria Morozova said that DPR is ready to hold talks with Kiev on the issue of crossing checkpoints of entry and exit across the line of contact.
Earlier, the authorities of the DNI because of the situation with the spread of the virus COVID-19 decided to stop the traffic across the line of contact until further notice. Later Kiev unilaterally decided to open the checkpoints of entry and exit across the line of contact. According to the DPR Ombudsman, the Republic's authorities only found out via media reports.
