The former President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma stopped work in the contact group on conflict settlement in the Donbass, said Tuesday the press service of the office of President Vladimir Zelensky on the results of their meeting.
The Verkhovna Rada resolution on holding the local elections contradict the Minsk agreements, said the Russian presidential envoy in the contact group on Donbass Boris Gryzlov following the results of conference.
"The discussion of all other issues in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres, in environment where the highest legislative body of Ukraine adopted a decision excluding the settlement of the conflict based on the Minsk agreements, are devoid of meaning. We are talking about the resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from July 15, to hold local elections in which the quality of elections in the Donbass, conditions that directly contradict the Minsk agreements", - he said.
Russia is satisfied with the agreement of the ceasefire between Kiev, Donetsk and Lugansk, said the Ambassador of Russia in the contact group on Donbass Boris Gryzlov following the results of conference.
"Finally after nearly five months of resistance, the Ukrainian side found the courage to agree on the measures to cease-fire that was repeatedly offered the Donetsk and Lugansk. In this regard, it is impossible to feel anything but satisfaction. Measures to ensure a cease-fire between Kiev and Donbass should enter into force on 27 July," - said Gryzlov.
The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said that he sees no risk of the annexation of the Donbas by Russia.
"The risk of annexation, I'm not seeing. I believe that the Russian Federation is just playing his very difficult and extremely dangerous to her game," - said Kuleba in an interview with "Today", which is posted on the YouTube channel.

"During today's conference, Kiev has refused the previously agreed arrangements for the drafting of lists on the exchange in accordance with the four categories of detained persons. This will significantly slow the process of exchange and release," - said Gryzlov.
Kiev is trying to move away from substantive discussion of issues, it seriously hampers the work of the contact group on Donbass, said the Plenipotentiary of Russia in the contact group Boris Gryzlov at the end of its meeting.
"The only way to resolve the domestic conflict is clear, complete and consistent implementation of the obligations of Kiev and the Donbass for Minsk agreements. And this can only be done in the mode of direct dialogue on all aspects of the political settlement between the authorities of Kiev, Donetsk and Lugansk," - said Gryzlov.
Representatives of Kiev not take into account the suggestions of Donbass on the draft law on the special status of the region, however, the dialogue between the parties on this issue began, said the Ambassador of Russia in the contact group on Ukraine, Boris Gryzlov following the meeting.

Deputy head of the delegation of Ukraine in the contact group in Minsk said that the Minsk package of measures is Advisory in nature, from which we can conclude that Kiev is not going to implement it, said the Ambassador of the Russian Federation under Boris Gryzlov.
