Belgazprombank after the introduction of the national Bank of Belarus interim administration suspends a number of foreign currency transactions for individuals, the press service of the Bank.
In particular, as follows from the message, from 23: 00 (same as GMT) 16 June suspended withdrawal of cash foreign currency on the territory of Belarus with use of Bank payment cards of OJSC "Belgazprombank", issued to the current account with the BOD in Belarusian roubles in ATMs BGB, partner banks and other banks of the Republic, and also in cash points of BGB and cash desks of other banks.
The national Bank (Central Bank) Belarus has introduced a temporary administration in the BGB, its head appointed Nadezhda Yermakova, said on Monday the press service of the regulator.
Ermakova led the Central Bank of the Republic in 2011-2014. On Friday, June 12, shareholders of Belgazprombank, Gazprom and Gazprombank, said that the Belarusian side was made illegal appointment of acting Chairman and acting Deputy Chairman of the management Board of OJSC "Belgazprombank".
