Russian head versatile atomic icebreaker "Arktika" is expected to be commissioned in the state Corporation "Rosatom" in the autumn of this year, said General Director of Rosatom Alexey Likhachev.
Deadlines for "Arctic" Rosatom were previously delayed - if it was originally scheduled for may-June of 2019, then it was decided to take the icebreaker in may 2020. "Arctic" can be commissioned Rosatom with the faulty propeller motor that has failed due to short circuit and which is planned to replace the dock Kronstadt naval plant (part of USC) in 2021, wrote in March this year, the newspaper "Kommersant" with reference to sources.
