"During the meeting the sides discussed issues of cooperation in the field of combating coronavirus infections, in particular prospects for a phased opening of the Russian-Abkhaz border", - is spoken in the message.
The President of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania appealed to the Russian government with an initiative for the phased lifting of restrictions on Abkhaz-Russian border, the press service of the Cabinet of the Republic.
The Abkhaz side is ready for the removal of such restrictions at any time, however, this problem is solved in agreement with the Russian party noted in press service.
The leadership of Abkhazia has written to the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin letter with the offer open from July 15 to the border for organized tourist groups, hoping for mutual understanding, said the President of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania.
