About 1.7 thousand of the electorate voted in the United States for amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, told RIA Novosti in Russian diplomatic missions.
The Consulate General in new York for the amendments voted 310 people, against 505, told RIA Novosti press-Secretary of Russian Consulate in new York Alexey Topol's'ke. According to him, of the 816 ballots issued at the opening of the ballot boxes was short one — apparently, the voter took with him.
