Russia will support Syria in the fight against "economic terrorism" the U.S. and EU countries after the introduction of new sanctions against the global pandemic of coronavirus, said the Russian Ambassador in Damascus Alexander Efimov.
"Neither Russia, which during its thousand-year history, endured many trials much more serious than this nor Syria, which has withstood years of brutal war with this terrorism can not break the economic terror. These attempts fail in the same way as already failed attempts of the Syrian people to impose the will of others by force of arms," - said Efimov during online speech on the occasion of Russia Day.
