The LDF reminded that the recent redeployment of their forces is a reaction to the demands of partners and the calls of the international community to start a political process. "We absolutely intend (to the political process – ed.) that will lead to a permanent peace settlement on the basis of the principles of our people, first and foremost, ensure the unity of Libya and its territorial integrity", - said in a statement.
